Kevin Petersons’ one man show,  “Tropical Splendor” opens for Walk On White, April 18, 2013, at Stone Soup Gallery, 802 White Street.   Kevin Peterson, master watercolorist, holds a BFA in Art.   A Key West local, Kevin left the Island to return to his family home in Gulfport, Mississippi in the 1990's.  Missing Key West and the island life, in 2009 he  returned to Key West with his partner Jeff, of 24 years, to pursue his art career. Kevin's  watercolors are in high demand.  Recently featured in  the international art magazine “The Art Of Man,” volume 12, his piece, Crimson Passionflower was chosen as the cover image.  His vibrant use of color and attention to detail are unparallelled.  Kevin's fluidity with his medium makes it seem as if the viewer is able to hear the water, or see a bird’s feather move in the wind.  In addition, Kevin's interpretation of the human form comes to life in moments that are not only peaceful and serence, but also intimate and sensual.  Kevin’s works are a true testament to the love affair between man and nature.
